Would hardwood floors be ok?

My family room is a converted 2 car garage with a concrete floor. There is a door that leads to the dug out crawl space which has been B-Dried into a basement/storage area. Currently we have carpet in the space but are considering hardwood floors. The room is at ground level in the front and a little under in the back. There is a 1/2 bathroom and utility room off of this room. I currently run a dehumidifier for to try to keep the room a little warmer. My major concern is possible moisture and my minor concern is the cold. What are your thoughts.
