What kind of suface can I get for my rabbit that's good for him because he's an indoor rabbit?

My rabbit is literbox trained and stays indoors. My room is hardwood floor, but that's not good for him. I've been trying to figure out what to get him but i honestly am not sure. If I get a rug, one of his claws might get snagged. But if i leave my hardwood floor for him, he might injure his back feet as my vet said. What do i do?
