What is your routine for cleaning hardwoods?

I currently on use my Swiffer and Shark. I would like to have the floors sparkle for an upcoming Open House. I'm not sure what to use for a good deep clean. ( I haven't lived here long enough to worry about it. Husband purchased it several years before me!)
