Hair dye question for the pro's?

heyy so im getting my hair dyed professionally to a nice cool toned light brown shade. a month or whatever later im going to dye parts of my hair to a light ash blonde. my question is, will the blonde turn out well or will it go orangy? i already know it could be damaging, no need to tell me all about that. thanks in advance :)
